To set up your Outlook Express client :

    1. Open Outlook or Outlook Express.
    2. Click the Tools menu, and select Accounts...
    3. Click Add, and then click Mail...

    1. Enter your name in the Display name: field, and click Next.

    1. Enter your full email address (username@iau-birjand.ac.ir) in the Email address: field, and click Next.

    1. Enter mail.mshdiau.ac.ir in the Incoming mail (POP3, IMAP or HTTP) server: field. Enter mail.iau-birjand.ac.ir in the Outgoing mail (SMTP) server: field.
    2. Click Next.
    1. Enter your username in the Account name: field. Enter your email password in the Password: field, and click Next.
    2. Click Finish.

    1. Highlight mail.iau-birjand.ac.ir under Account, and click Properties.

    1. Click the Servers tab.
    2. Check the box next to My server requires authentication under Outgoing Mail Server .

    1. Click OK.

                                                   Congratulations! You're done configuring your client to send and retrieve messages.

    1. Press Send/Recv button in outlook toolbar.
